We're excited about our new improvements for the 2011 season. Among these are a hood for the kitchen, conference center, hardwood floors and carpet.
We were working around the clock this spring to get things wrapped up in time for the season and the lodge is looking great. An Ash hardwood floor in the dining room and main entrance really kicks it up a notch. The carpet in the living room and bar have added the perfect touch to the fresh look and the hood brings the kitchen together and enables our new fantastic chef Vikki to really expand the culinary excellence at the Bighorn River Lodge.
The front deck is now complete with a bar countertop overlooking the pond. Behind that tucked away in the shade are 9 hand crafted rockers perfect for that post fishing un-wind and drink while you enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Bighorn Mountains. To top it all off horn chandeliers have made their way into the cabin and dining room at the lodge.
The new conference center at the Caddis Cabin has all the modern amenities to make your corporate outing a success and still maintains the true Montana feel of a fishing lodge. The installation of a new settling tank at the cabin greatly increases the water quality.
The river is busy with mating waterfowl and spawning rainbow trout. Water levels are a little high but it hasn't changed the bite.
